Job summary

MTrec Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our client’s team in the UK. You will support small engineering projects, maintain site systems, and assist with lubrication, fluids, and waste management.

The role requires experience in manufacturing or engineering, strong communication, IT literacy, and a collaborative approach. A permanent position offers stability, development, and day-shift hours on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Strong communication with a focus on customer service.
• Experience operating machinery, setting up, stripping, cleaning and reassembling equipment.
• Team player with collaborative project approach.
• IT literacy and confidence using various systems.
• Health and safety conscious with high standards in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
• Apply and change lubricants and fluids to planned maintenance schedules.
• Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, with reporting in-house system.
• Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site.
• Customer liaison and assisting in meetings.
• Follow 5S and Health & Safety procedures.

We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician, to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with small engineering projects. If you are an experienced manufacturing operative, with a background in mechanical, production or chemical manufacturing and looking for your next career move,

The job you’ll do:

• Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.

• Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules

• Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.

• Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site

• Customer liaison and assisting in meetings

• Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.

About you:

• You will have a proven background within the manufacturing or engineering sector.

• A strong communicator, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service

• You may be from a machine operating background, where you have set up, stripped, cleaned and reassembled equipment.

• You will be a team player and take a collaborative approach to project work.

• You will be IT literate and confident in the use of various systems.

• Health and Safety conscious, with a strong focus on maintaining the highest standards within the workplace.
