Job summary

MTrec Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing site with routine maintenance and rapid fault diagnosis. This role suits an experienced engineer capable of electrical maintenance and mechanical repair, with a bias towards electrical systems.

You will work on a two-shift pattern (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00) Monday to Friday, maintaining critical equipment and ensuring safety and compliance.

MTrec Recruitment are representing our prestigious client in their search for an experienced, multi-skilled Maintenance Technician.

The role will support the site by maintaining and repairing business-critical equipment and would be well suited to those with a background in manufacturing/ engineering.

The role is working a 2-shift pattern, 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday.

The Job you will do:

• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

About you:

• You will be a time-served engineer with at least a level 3 BTEC in engineering or a related discipline. (Electrical Bias preferred but not essential)

• Previous experience working within busy manufacturing, production or engineering settings is essential.

• Ideally, you will have experience on equipment such as motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• An 18th edition would be an advantage but is not essential.

• Proficiency in the maintenance of electrical systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Flexibility needed around working hours, shift work, and occasional weekend work
