Job summary

Princes Group in the United Kingdom is hiring a Manufacturing Systems 3rd Line Support Analyst to deliver and support manufacturing systems across 15 sites. You will handle incidents, change requests, and collaborate with IT Service Desk, suppliers, and project teams.

The role requires 3rd line experience, MES/SAP knowledge, and readiness for 24/7 on-call support with travel as needed.

Qualifications

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT or relevant field.
Knowledge or experience implementing or supporting MES and/or SAP (MM/PP/PM/QM/WM).
Understanding of manufacturing data: BOMs, routings, production orders.
Experience in IT support/help desk with ITSM/ITIL processes.
Experience in software installation and database maintenance.

Responsibilities

Provide 3rd line support to manufacturing system users via Group IT Service Desk tickets.
Scope, cost and assess impact/risk on Change Requests for IT Change Board.
Ensure changes follow change management and are well documented.
Troubleshoot remotely and escalate unresolved issues to developers/architects.
Document incidents and resolutions, keep customers informed.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rota and occasional overtime.
