Job summary

3R Consulting Ltd is seeking a Systems Engineer (3rd line) for our long standing client. The role is office-based, primarily supporting clients' IT systems through remote access technologies, with occasional client-facing installations or pre-sales support.

You will work within a small team of 3rd line engineers, manage complex escalations from 2nd line to resolution, install new solutions at customer premises, and assist the sales team with solution design.

Qualifications

• Current Microsoft accreditation or equivalent vendor accreditation.
• Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange, LAN/WAN, and storage infrastructure.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line ICT service call management and support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-level customer technical problems while updating the ticketing system.
• Install new solutions and software at customer premises.
• Support the sales team in solution design.

3R Consulting are looking to recruit a Systems Engineer (3rdline) for our long standing client.

The role is predominately office based, supporting clients IT systems through remote access technologies,
however there will be client facing duties from time to time for installations or pre-sales support.

• Working within a team of 3rdline engineers, providing ICT service call management and third line support. To manage the more complex escalated support requests from 2ndline support through to resolution.
• Troubleshooting and resolving high level customer technical problems whilst updating the call management system.
• Installation of new solutions and software at customer premises.
• Supporting the sales team in solution design.

Requirements

• Holding a current Microsoft accreditation, or other relevant vendor accreditation, as a minimum the ideal candidate will be experienced in some of the following areas:
• MS Active Directory,
• Windows Server (up to and including latest version)
• Microsoft Exchange
• LAN/WAN (routers, switches)
• Backup and DR Solutions
• Storage Infrastructure
