Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Manufacturing Key Operative - Maintenance to support multi-skilled engineers. You will prepare and execute Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks and carry out trade tasks across the site, including joinery, painting, plumbing and mechanical work.

By adopting a planned approach, you will help identify maintenance needs, ensure asset performance, and comply with Health & Safety and Food Safety policies while providing flexible support across the business.

Qualifications

• Engineering-related experience from a comparable role.
• Working knowledge of safe working practices and risk assessment.
• Trade qualification demonstrating competence in basic mechanical, plumbing or fabric work.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Ability to comply with site policies including Health and Food Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to multi-skilled engineers with maintenance tasks.
• Prepare and execute Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Undertake joinery, painting, plumbing and mechanical work across the site.
• Identify maintenance needs and help deliver high asset performance.
• Ensure a robust safe system of work is applied with risk assessments as needed.
