Job summary

The ideal candidate will lead the maintenance team, prioritise work orders, manage the maintenance system and drive continuous improvement with a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Strong technical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Commitment to health and safety and high standards of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance team on a day-to-day basis.
• Prioritise maintenance activities and allocate work to meet targets.
• Manage maintenance system to record work and repairs within timescales.
• Raise and manage maintenance work orders.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to the team.
• Monitor quality and standard of maintenance work.
• Maintain spare parts stock levels.
• Communicate updates to the maintenance team.
• Oversee day-to-day health and safety within the team.
• Support day-to-day people management and performance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance.
• Lead problem solving to resolve equipment issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to reduce downtime.
