Job summary

Johnson Controls in Frome, UK is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, drive continuous improvement, and work with Production, Engineering and Quality to maximise uptime.

You will manage CMMS, monitor maintenance metrics, mentor staff, control contractor activity, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role within manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience coordinating planned maintenance programmes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate daily maintenance to ensure equipment availability and efficiency.
• Plan and prioritise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive reliability improvements.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to minimise downtime.
• Manage contractors and CMMS records.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on safety, efficiency and cost.
