Job summary

Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is assisting a leading global manufacturing business to recruit an IT Analyst for a pivotal role in launching a brand-new production facility. Initial training will occur at Solihull, followed by a period of home working before the Stoke-on-Trent site becomes the full-time base.

The role focuses on IT operations, system maintenance and security within a modern manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT infrastructure, business applications and end-user technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting across networks, Windows and enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT operational best practices.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive or production environments is advantageous.
• Proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong communication.
• Ability to work independently and with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain and support on-site applications and system infrastructure.
• Implement, roll-out and manage IT systems and software.
• Ensure data availability with data owners.
• Provide IT security, access controls, firewalls and encryption.
• Monitor IT infrastructure including servers, networks and cloud services.
• Live incident support process for production-critical issues.
• Participate in IT projects across cross-functional and regional scopes.
• Manage IT assets and asset data quality.
• On-call availability as needed.
