Baltic Recruitment are delighted to support a leading global manufacturing business in appointing a Manufacturing Engineer to help launch a brand-new production site. Initially based at the Solihull facility for 6-12 months, the role will transition to the new site in Stoke-on-Trent where it will be permanently based.

You will drive manufacturing process improvements, implement maintenance and QA actions, and collaborate with shift managers and various departments to ensure safety, quality,

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering/technical field.
• Primary automotive professional experience in the field of manufacturing technology and/or assembly operations.
• 2-3D design software, knowledge of MS Office.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team and independently.
• Written and oral language skills appropriate to working in English are expected.
• Openness to further learning.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the efficient operation of the production line and solve problems as they arise.
• Prepare, update and train work instructions for production processes.
• Plan, test and implement preventive maintenance and emergency measures to stabilise safety, quality, delivery and cost of production processes.
• Define spare parts lists.
• Support QA investigations and corrective actions, and partner with departments following inspections or customer feedback.
• Contribute to optimization and scrap management procedures.
• Perform tasks under PDCA cycles.
