Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development for new model introductions. You will drive vehicle assembly concepts, virtual-to-physical validation, and process documentation, ensuring traceability and best-practice execution across the plant.

You will work closely with Engineering and Operations to remove bottlenecks, balance lines, and optimise time and motion studies, while shaping layout and flow for ongoing brand-driven production of high-value

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level Mechanical or Automotive Engineering required or equivalent experience
• Experience with safe working practices and manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong problem solving, communication and teamwork skills required

Responsibilities

• Develop deliverables for new model introductions including vehicle assembly concepts
• Coordinate virtual environment studies and physical validation transitions
• Define process sequencing, documentation and traceability methodologies
• Support HPC data ownership to ensure line efficiency and output targets
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to resolve production bottlenecks
• Conduct line balancing and time/motion studies across the plant
• Assist with facility layout and material flow for new models
