McLaren Automotive Ltd is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and execution of Manufacturing Engineering practices across PM, Safety, Quality, Cost, and People Development. You will translate vehicle characteristics into robust process parameters and drive end-to-end process improvements.

The role requires leadership in virtual manufacturing, timing plan development, and cross-functional collaboration with design and production teams to deliver high-quality supercars

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in mechanical/automotive engineering.
• Experience with complex vehicle systems and end-of-line processes.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills with a proactive improvement mindset.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and execution of Manufacturing Engineering practices improving PM, Safety, Quality, Cost, People Dev, and Delivery.
• Capture vehicle characteristics and translate them into manufacturing process parameters.
• Create new processes and procedures to manufacture per design intent safely and consistently.
• Support and deliver best operational practices and department budgets within programs.
• Lead virtual manufacturing and process simulations to validate concepts.
• Develop timing plans to support full program delivery activities.
• Coordinate with H&S to ensure processes and materials suit manufacturing environment.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues with timely containment and transfer of knowledge.
• Collaborate on layout design, modelling/simulation, and material flow integration.
