Job summary

McLaren Automotive Limited is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Woking to drive process improvement and lead production line design for new model content. You will manage PFMEA activities, optimise line performance and coordinate with operations to ensure smooth ramp and sustained production.

The role requires a mechanical/automotive engineering degree and strong CAD, GD&T and quality tooling knowledge, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to support McLaren's high-value,

Qualifications

A degree in mechanical / automotive engineering or similar (2:1 or above) is advantageous or equivalent experience in a similar role.
Experience with manufacturing in a low-to-mid volume assembly environment is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Display a positive attitude and strong work ethic aligned with McLaren's mission and goals.
Own PFMEA activities and drive change through design reviews for new content.
Lead production line design and delivery of end-to-end processes for new model content.
Define and implement line re-rate projects to increase capacity and transformation.
Collaborate with Operations to ensure ramp-up and long-term production success.
Develop equipment qualification requirements and manage supplier relationships.
