Job summary

McLaren Automotive seeks a Manufacturing Quality professional to support New Models through planning, pre-series and series production. You will define processes, ensure LEG-SOS readiness, and collaborate with PMO, Engineering, Corporate Quality, Logistics and Launch to secure successful delivery of product outcomes.

The role emphasizes data-driven quality management, problem solving, torque audits and cross-functional collaboration across build phases.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in vehicle launches and an understanding of Manufacturing Quality in a vehicle launch.
• Experience with Quality management systems including fault management systems.
• Experience with system design and process mapping.
• Good understanding of problem-solving techniques and quality tools.
• Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel (as required).
• Project management skills; Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement robust process controls and documentation for inspections, verifications and validations.
• Lead management of quality concerns across build phases and drive issues to resolution.
• Oversee training of operators and execution of torque audit activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture quality concerns as QCRs/PPMs and analyze trends.
• Review and update process documentation to reflect current procedures.
• Produce periodic reports on readiness for each build phase.
• Engage cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing quality deliverables.
