Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineering leader to drive the series manufacturing strategy across current and future vehicle programmes. You will own governance, standards and delivery, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency and customer-ready launches.

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, shape capability and design organisation structure, while partnering with Operations, Quality, Product Development and external partners to achieve aligned outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional expertise in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or related discipline.
• Senior-level experience leading Manufacturing Engineering across tooling, governance, IT transformation and 4.0 initiatives.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and building organisational capability.
• Strong understanding of machinery safety, risk assessment and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead series manufacturing and manufacturing innovation; own strategy deployment, governance, standards and assurance across tools and transformation workstreams.
• Provide functional leadership across McLaren's manufacturing operation for production areas and future vehicle programmes from concept to customer release.
• Ensure readiness for programme milestones, start-of-production timing, first-time quality and throughput targets.
• Influence senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Product Development, Quality, IT, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Set technical standards and priorities; manage budgets, resources, and supplier decisions within budgets.
