Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in North Wales is offering a 12.5-month student internship in Programme & Project Management based at Broughton. The start date is 16 August 2027 and applications close on 25 October 2026. Open to undergraduates for the entire placement.

You will contribute to tooling and metrology projects, develop dashboards, learn SAP, and collaborate across teams while applying Airbus Lean principles in a hybrid working environment with a salary of £24,246.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and bring innovative ideas.
• Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to immerse in Airbus ways of working.
• Good computer and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: contribute to long-term plans and introduce new technologies and process improvements.
• Project Delivery: organise and deliver multiple projects across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and Continuous Improvement.
• Data Studio KPI Development: develop dashboards for critical KPIs for informed decision-making.
• SAP Integration: learn and engage with SAP systems to support operations.
• Communication: collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Innovative Mindset: bring ideas to enhance processes and operations.
