Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Broughton, North Wales, offers a placement in Manufacturing Engineering for undergraduates. You will gain hands-on experience across jigs and tooling, process planning, industrial configuration, and digitalization.

You will work with a multi-functional team on daily technical issues, improvements, and product development, while developing skills in industrial planning, project management, and cross-functional communication during the 12.5 month placement.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Engineering, a Technical field, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of Microsoft and Google Tools.
• Team player with strong communication and listening abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily support for and management of technical issues and continuous improvements.
• Driving innovations and new technologies within manufacturing engineering.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on jigs, tooling, and process changes.
• Contributing to end-to-end industrial planning and digitalization initiatives.
