We are looking for an experienced individual to help us expand our order intake in a rapidly growing UK market sector, identified as a key growth area by the UK Leadership Team. Working closely with our Sector Leader and Sector Business Director for General Manufacturing and Aerospace, you will be empowered to cultivate existing relationships and pursue new leads to grow our UK workload.

As commissions and future workload grow, you will have the ability to take on an Account Leader role for one or more clients, overseeing delivery of new work while also maintaining the drive to identify and win new opportunities.

  1. Develop and implement a market sector growth plan with our Sector Leader to drive revenue and raise brand awareness, targeting a £5m revenue growth across UK service lines.
  2. Contribute to the sector marketing and communications plan, including attending events, developing blogs and articles, and bringing your own ideas for improvement.
  3. Create tailored plans for each client or opportunity as situations evolve, positioning Arcadis as the preferred consultant.
  4. Collaborate with Value Proposition Leaders to craft commercially viable propositions that demonstrate value-creating outcomes for clients.
  5. Help develop market-facing collateral and guide pursuit and marketing teams to effectively showcase why clients should choose Arcadis.
  6. Manage the pipeline of opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of pursuits to meet targets.
  7. Foster cooperation across Arcadis to maximize cross-selling opportunities, promoting the best team members.
  8. Build and leverage a network of enduring relationships across the market, identifying client needs and positioning Arcadis as a trusted partner.
  9. Ensure compliance with Arcadis business initiatives, focusing on Net Order Intake, revenue delivery, customer experience, and employee experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree with extensive experience in market opportunity development, pursuit to win, and account management within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
  • Strong market opinion and proven track record of developing sales strategies that grow client accounts profitably.
  • Significant leadership capability and ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams.
  • Successful implementation of Customer Experience (CX) strategies at both individual and strategic levels.
  • Robust network of market contacts, both clients and supply chain partners.
  • Experience leading complex pursuits exceeding £1m revenue.
  • Strategic planning and implementation skills.
