Position: Global Account Lead (London-based)

We are seeking a London-based Global Account Lead to oversee the strategy and growth of a set of global strategic advertising partnerships with a joint business plan (JBP). You will develop, grow, and implement joint business plans, scaled initiatives, and innovative projects that drive results for our advertising business and beyond. Collaborating with local and international sales and agency teams, you will align global strategies with regional execution, manage complex client relationships, and oversee cross-functional initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  1. Manage C-level and mid-level stakeholders within Spotify, advertisers, and agencies for your global accounts.
  2. Coordinate and motivate global teams within Spotify, clients, and agencies through strategic engagement and communication plans.
  3. Develop and execute JBP priorities in collaboration with cross-functional partners including Category Development, Trading, Sales, and Agency Leads.
  4. Advise local sales and leadership teams on advertiser needs, identifying new revenue opportunities and sharing successes.
  5. Identify new markets and revenue opportunities across your accounts.
  6. Create action plans to drive revenue growth in partnership with local sales teams worldwide.
  7. Lead internal Spotify teams supporting these advertisers to enhance collaboration on global projects.
  8. Manage global partnership communications, including updates, toolkits, playbooks, and reporting.
  9. Oversee the execution of scalable programs such as education initiatives, data workstreams, and innovation projects across JBP accounts.
  10. Contribute to future partnership development, innovation initiatives, and team growth strategies.

Who You Are

  1. 10+ years of global digital advertising sales experience within Fortune 100 companies.
  2. Extensive network within FMCG/CPG, Technology & Telecom, or Media/Entertainment sectors.
  3. Proven success in growing revenue, scaling processes, and managing multiple partners simultaneously.
  4. A strategic operator with a service-oriented mindset, comfortable navigating complex processes and deadlines.
  5. Passionate about mentoring and coaching sales professionals globally.
  6. High emotional intelligence and self-awareness, fostering positive energy and passion.
  7. Strong presence and ability to engage with decision-makers and C-level executives.
  8. Comfortable working in ambiguous, matrixed organizations, influencing others and building trust.
  9. Skilled in delivering impactful presentations and leading educational programs for large audiences.
  10. Deep understanding of Spotify user behavior, products, and targeting capabilities, with the ability to simplify technical ideas.
  11. Willing and able to travel internationally and work flexibly across time zones.

Where You'll Be
