Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for Citrix products and solutions, leveraging field experience.
  • Assess potential applications of Citrix products to meet customer needs as part of the sales team.
  • Articulate industry trends and insights.
  • Establish trusted advisor status and act as a customer advocate.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer locations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to meet customer needs.
  • Build complex, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations.
  • Overcome technical and competitive objections to accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Create formal networks with key decision-makers and develop extended relationships.
  • Serve as an external spokesperson and evangelist for Citrix technologies.
  • Provide regular updates on accounts to sales and management.
  • Contribute to the team's technical knowledge sharing.
  • Function as a sales representative when needed.
  • Present and communicate at an executive level to multiple customers and prospects.
  • Own initiatives impacting immediate sales areas, such as go-to-market strategies.
  • Influence sales opportunities beyond assigned accounts.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of Citrix and competitive technologies.

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Consulting, or Customer Success in high-tech environments.
  • Ability to travel within the territory.
  • Beneficial certifications include Citrix Certified Expert Virtualization (CCE-V), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, and security certifications.
