Job summary

People First Team China 中国团队 in Reading is looking for a Mandarin-speaking Operations Assistant to handle customer claims and data tasks. The role is office-based, permanent, with a salary up to £31k depending on experience. Start ASAP and you will work five days a week.

The position requires fluent English and Mandarin, cross-cultural communication, and data handling using Excel, SQL, and Python. You will support the Sales team, review claims, and contribute to data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Mandarin preferred.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced functions preferred).
• Experience in data consolidation and analysis with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data tools or coding (SQL, Python) is advantageous.
• Some experience in data analysis or related field preferred.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
