What is the role?

As a Managing Consultant focusing on UK Defence IT recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of recruitment consultants, managing client relationships, and delivering high-level recruitment solutions. You will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining strategic client partnerships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional talent in a highly security-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of recruitment consultants working within the UK Defence IT sector
  • Develop and expand relationships with key defence clients and stakeholders
  • Manage large, complex recruitment projects, ensuring delivery to high standards
  • Drive business growth through strategic sourcing, candidate engagement, and networking within the defence industry
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including contract negotiations, compliance, and security clearance procedures
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations, security policies, and technological advancements relevant to defence IT
  • Collaborate with leadership to set objectives, monitor team performance, and implement strategic plans
