Role Overview

We are in an expansion phase across the firm and seeking an experienced Senior Manager or Manager to join our Tax Services Group. The role will provide direct support to the partners by managing an existing portfolio of professional partnerships and connected partners, whilst helping to grow and develop this area of our business.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compliance and advisory support for professional partnerships and related matters.
  • Support business development, including preparing tenders, proposals and delivering presentations.
  • Mentor and develop team members interested in partnership specialism—line manage and assist with work planning and performance feedback.
  • Plan, prioritise work, meet deadlines and monitor budgets.
  • Ensure delivery and quality of work.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent) with several years post‑qualification experience.
  • Strong UK tax technical skills and the ability to analyse tax technical queries to provide robust advice and solutions.
  • Project management skills with proven ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a clear client focus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to develop other team members.
  • Business development experience.
Location

The role can be based out of any of our offices in Bristol, Bournemouth, High Wycombe, Peterborough, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh or Inverness.

  • 35‑hour working week with a hybrid working policy and up to three days per week from home (core hours 10‑4).
