Job summary

JCB in Wrexham is seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance team. You will play a key part in supporting financial performance and decision-making across the Transmissions division, working with the AFC to manage month-end close, reporting and cost control.

You'll take ownership of cost reporting, budgeting support, balance sheet reconciliations and analytical support for the wider finance team, with opportunities to influence business decisions and develop future finance talent.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and working towards qualification.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfortable handling large datasets.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide insights.
• Innovative mindset to improve processes and add value.
• Effective communicator able to influence stakeholders across the business.
• Collaborative, cross-functional working style and interest in developing others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly operating cost and capital reports and forecasts.
• Review reports to identify drivers of performance and explain variances.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, including modelling and reporting.
• Analyze financial information using established processes and sound judgement.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting for statutory requirements.
• Maintain transfer pricing arrangements and conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide analytical support to the broader Finance team for business decisions.
• Prepare for statutory returns and partner with operations to drive cost improvements.
