Job summary

J C Bamford Excavators Ltd in Wrexham is seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance team within the Transmissions division. You will support month-end close, financial reporting, and cost reduction initiatives while partnering with the AFC.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and working towards qualification.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly operating cost and capital reports, alongside forecast management.
• Reviewing reports to identify key drivers of performance and explain variances.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including modelling, analysis, reporting and submission.
• Analysing financial information using established processes with sound judgement.
• Assisting with monthly and year-end accounting processes to support statutory requirements.
• Maintaining transfer pricing arrangements.
• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
• Providing analytical support to the wider Finance team with ad hoc analysis.
• Supporting preparation for statutory returns.
• Partnering with operational teams to drive cost control and performance improvements.
