Job summary

At JCB, the Assistant Management Accountant will support the Business Unit Finance team at our Rocester site, handling the purchase ledger and accounts payable activities while contributing to month-end reporting and intercompany reconciliations.

This role offers clear progression as you gain experience, with opportunities to take on more complex tasks, build strong stakeholder relationships, and develop broader management accounting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience within Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, or a broader finance role.
• Keen to develop into Management Accounting with exposure to month-end processes.
• Studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA with focus on progression.

Responsibilities

• Managing purchase ledger and accounts payable tasks on a day-to-day basis.
• Supporting month-end activities, including reconciliations and journals.
• Intercompany reconciliations and assisting with reporting requirements.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries.
