Job summary

Marks Sattin is seeking a Management Accountant for a well established company in Wrexham. This is a permanent role offering a clear path to join a growing finance team and contribute to robust reporting and business partnering.

You will produce monthly management accounts, variance analyses, budgeting and forecasts, and present results to the Finance Manager and senior leadership. Candidates studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA with strong Excel and stakeholder skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Studying towards or fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Management accounts experience.
• Experience of preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Produce detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year performance.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow reporting.
• Present financial results and key trends to the Finance Manager and senior leadership team.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process.
• Produce rolling forecasts and assess risks and opportunities.
• Maintain and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Business partnering.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
