A local support service in Rottingdean seeks Personal Care Assistants to provide individualized care for a young adult with Autism. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, and supporting participation in activities like cycling and football. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and a warm nature, and a valid driver's license with a vehicle is essential. The position offers an hourly rate of £15.00 with potential for permanent placement.
Male only Personal Care Assistants / Support Workers required to assist a young adult male with Autism, Epilepsy and Severe Communication Disorder living in the Ferniegair - Hamilton area.
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
Driver essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle – mileage allowance will be paid.
Recruiting for one position for a casual worker which may lead to permanent.
Wednesday and Friday: 10AM – 3PM.
Overtime will be available – to be discussed at interview.
Hourly rate: £15.00.
