Job Description:

The Major Account Manager partners with our customers to secure their entire digital experience. You’re motivated by the desire to solve critical challenges facing our customer’s secure environment, so you’re prepared to connect them with a solution for every stage of threat prevention. This role is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you’re responsible for leading and driving sales engagements.

Your Impact
  • Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles, working with internal teams to serve the customer effectively.
  • Use consultative selling to identify business challenges and craft solutions for prospects and clients.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks solutions effectively.
  • Create clear goals and accurate forecasts by developing detailed territory plans.
  • Leverage customer stories to craft compelling value propositions tailored to each account.
  • Stay informed on industry news and trends impacting our products and services.
  • Travel within your territory and to company meetings as needed.
Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Experience with SaaS architectures, preferably in networking or security, with SASE knowledge preferred.
  • C-Level engagement experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in the Higher Education sector is preferred.
  • Proven ability to sell complex solutions using value-based and consultative sales techniques.
  • Technical understanding of how technology solutions address business problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data review, and scalable solution development.
  • Ability to build relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
  • Knowledge of the full sales cycle and structured sales process.
  • Holistic problem-solving skills and understanding of complex interrelationships.
  • Excellent time management and autonomous work capabilities.
