Job Description:

Role Summary

You will sell to and manage relationships with named end user accounts of 1001+ users, fulfilling through the channel. You will actively generate and pursue opportunities to achieve sales quotas. With customers, you will create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Sophos products and services. The target segment is UK Higher Education, including named user accounts and net new prospects.

What You Will Do?

  1. Generate enterprise account sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline from current and net new customers.
  2. Increase direct end user engagement with named expansion customers and net new prospects on behalf of Sophos.
  3. Manage the sales process through closure of the sale, continued development, and retention.
  4. Achieve agreed quarterly sales goals and develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in enterprise accounts, leveraging these during the sales process.
  5. Execute a planned cadence of engagement with key strategic customers, with monthly or quarterly minimums, and establish detailed strategic account plans where appropriate.
  6. Maintain a detailed understanding of strategic customer accounts’ business to align Sophos solutions with their cybersecurity and business outcomes.
  7. Collaborate with your Enterprise Sales Engineer, MDR Sales Specialist for complex MDR opportunities, and Customer Success for strategic accounts.
  8. Negotiate terms of business with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction, engagement, and adoption of Sophos technology.
  9. Coordinate with internal teams to generate and deliver contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work.
  10. Work with Channel Sales and partner community to create pipeline through indirect engagements.

  • Enterprise sales experience, UK Higher Education experience strongly preferred.
