Job summary

Gingerbread Family Support is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker for Rothesay Court, Longton. You will manage maintenance tasks, repairs, groundskeeping, painting and decorating, and uphold health and safety standards at the site.

The role requires multi-tasking in a busy environment, a full driving licence, and the ability to work Monday to Friday across 37 hours. Salary is £28,088.86 per annum, with DBS checks and living wage commitments.

• Experience in maintenance, repair work, groundskeeping, painting and decorating, and health and safety at site.
• Full driving licence and own vehicle.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Worker

Rothesay Court

We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to be part of our team of dedicated staff at Gingerbread Family Support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance, repair work, groundskeeping, painting and decorating, and health and safety at our Rothesay Court site.

This is an essential role that requires a variety of skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

The ability to multi-task is a must, with the capacity to work in a busy environment, using your initiative to identify and prioritise jobs that need addressing, including any Health and Safety concerns. You will also need to be adaptable.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday at our Rothesay Court site, but may be required to provide support to other Gingerbread premises as and when needed.

As well as experience in maintenance, repair work, groundskeeping, painting and decorating, you will need to have:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility
• Willingness to undertake training
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices and regulations
• A full driver’s licence and own vehicle
• The ability to identify and prioritise tasks

Salary: £28,088.86 per annum

Hours of work: 37-hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

Location: Rothesay Court, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent
