Cygnet is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Maintenance Operative at Hawkstone House in Bradford, West Yorkshire. You will perform maintenance tasks to keep the site safe, secure and well maintained, contributing to a high-quality environment for residents and staff.
The role includes painting, basic joinery, plumbing and general building work with a 40-hour week (Mon–Fri). DBS checks are required and there are strong progression opportunities within a supportive team.

In this important role, you'll help ensure our service remains safe, secure and well maintained, creating the best possible environment for the people in our care, our colleagues and visitors.

From carrying out repairs and routine maintenance to helping maintain a high‑quality social care environment, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the service and contributing to positive service user experiences.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday only, you'll enjoy a great work‑life balance with
no weekend working, and no on call.
Hawkstone is a specialist residential service in Bradford, West Yorkshire, supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.

Hawkstone is split into two separate living areas, Hawkstone House and Hawkstone Cottage. Hawkstone House is set in a beautiful 19th century building that was originally the Duke of Devonshire’s hunting lodge. The building is steeped in history and has a great deal of character, including towers and a grand, ornate entrance foyer.
