Job summary

The Cosy Box Co. seeks an experienced maintenance supervisor to oversee repairs and improvement work across Brighton & Hove properties. You will lead a small team of operatives, prioritise tasks, and ensure safe, good-quality homes for residents.

Bring proven team leadership, knowledge of UK health & safety regulations, and hands-on skills in repairs, decorating and upgrades. The role is on-site, 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with a focus on resident safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading and managing a high-performing team of operatives
• Knowledge of UK landlord repairs regulations, compliance and health & safety
• Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
• NVQ2 or above, or relevant trade experience (decorating, carpentry, plumbing, tiling)
• Good customer relationship skills and managing challenging behaviour

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day delivery of maintenance across local properties
• Lead and supervise a small team of operatives
• Coordinate repairs, cleaning, and decoration tasks
• Ensure health and safety inspections and remedial actions are completed on time
