Mears Group is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor for Brighton, in partnership with Moat Housing. You will oversee planned, cyclical, and responsive repairs across tenanted properties, ensuring quality, safety, and customer care.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong oversight, coordination of trades, and adherence to procedures and regulations. You will inspect works, report progress, and support continuous improvement while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships and

Qualifications

• Must hold a full valid UK manual driving licence.
• Proven experience supervising operatives in repairs/maintenance.
• Experience coordinating multi-trade teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-inspections on Void properties.
• Supervise tradespeople and subcontractors across multiple workstreams.
• Oversee planned, cyclical, and responsive repairs to ensure high quality delivery.
• Ensure works meet industry standards and health and safety requirements.
• Log works and generate reports using PDA systems and Excel.
