Job summary

Hightown Housing Association is seeking a Healthy Homes Supervisor to join our Asset Management team in Hemel Hempstead. You will lead a team of Multi-Trade Operatives and Electricians to keep homes safe, compliant and well maintained.

You will carry out technical inspections, manage repairs, liaise with contractors and produce maintenance reports. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, repairs or building environment.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a customer-facing role.
• Experience carrying out property, health and safety or compliance inspections.
• Strong knowledge of building construction and property maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• Commitment to providing outstanding services to residents.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of operatives, driving high performance and quality outcomes.
• Carry out technical inspections, work-in-progress checks and post-inspections.
• Carry-out multi-trade remediation works and ensure timely resolution of identified hazards.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Produce reports, specifications and recommendations for maintenance works.
• Help maintain accurate stock condition data to support future investment planning.
• Ensure residents receive an excellent service and are kept informed throughout works.
