Job summary

Alex Young Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Swindon. You will lead a technical team with a mechanical or electrical background, coordinating 9 engineers/technicians and subcontractors while ensuring client satisfaction.

You will conduct morning and end-of-day briefings, manage Maximo CRM-based job logging and reporting, and attend client meetings to discuss technical questions and perform audits. The role runs Monday to Friday with standard office hours.

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanical or electrical fields with proven supervisory experience.
• Experience managing engineers/technicians and coordinating field teams.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and client-facing meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 9 engineers/technicians and ensure daily priorities are clear.
• Run morning go meetings to confirm PPE and job assignments.
• Hold end-of-day meetings to review issues and unblock blockers.
• Log jobs and run reports using Maximo CRM.
• Manage subcontractors and conduct audits.
• Attend client meetings to address technical questions.
• Lead toolbox talks and handle general paperwork.

Maintenance Supervisor

My client is currently recruiting for a maintenance supervisor based in Swindon. You will come from a technical background either mechanical or electrical with a proven track record in being and supervisor and managing engineers.

Sector: Commercial Maintenance

• looking after 9 engineers/technicians
• having morning go meetings making sure engineers have correct ppe and know what jobs they have
• end of day meeting to see if any problems etc
• using maximo CRM system making sure jobs are logged and reports can be run
• looking after subcontractors
• audits on subcontractors
• attending client meeting for technical questions
• toolbox talks and general paperwork

Hours 7.45 to 4.45 Monday to Friday.

Salary is 45-50K depending on experience, plus company benefits and more.
