Job summary

ATA Recruitment in Devizes is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a skilled engineering and operations team, overseeing processing and packaging assets and driving reliability and cost-effective maintenance strategies.

You will own PPM and reactive maintenance, lead changeovers, and implement continuous improvement projects while developing the team’s capability. This role offers stability within a large UK group with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance teams during changeovers and setups.

What You'll Be Doing

This role offers practical leadership, technical challenge, and the opportunity to shape processes while developing your team's expertise. Additionally, You'll manage PPM and reactive maintenance, drive continuous improvement projects, and implement practical solutions to increase efficiency and performance.

• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and pneumatic faults.
• Lead teams during machinery changeovers and setups.
• Lead teams during machinery changeovers and setups.
• Drive continuous improvement and participate in failure investigations to enhance efficiency
• Support team development and technical competence.
• Ensure availability and efficiency of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Contribute to internal and external audits.
• Manage day-to-day HR activities for direct reports.
