Job summary

Alex Young Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a client in Swindon. You will lead a team of nine engineers/technicians with a mechanical or electrical background, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of maintenance tasks.

You will run morning go meetings, assign jobs, check PPE, and hold end-of-day reviews. You will also manage subcontractors, conduct audits, and liaise with clients on technical questions, safety, and toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising engineers/technicians.
• Technical background in mechanical or electrical.
• Experience with client meetings and site paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 9 engineers/technicians and coordinate daily tasks.
• Conduct morning and end-of-day meetings to assign jobs and resolve issues.
• Ensure PPE compliance and site safety.
• Manage subcontractors and audit performance.
• Attend client meetings and conduct toolbox talks.

Maintenance Supervisor

My client is currently recruiting for a maintenance supervisor based in Swindon. You will come from a technical background either mechanical or electrical with a proven track record in being and supervisor and managing engineers.

Sector: Commercial Maintenance

Duties will include looking after 9 engineers/technicians, having morning go meetings making sure engineers have correct ppe and know what jobs they have, as well as end of day meeting to see if any problems etc, using maximo CRM system making sure jobs are logged and reports can be run, looking after subcontractors, audits on subcontractors, attending client meeting for technical questions, toolbox talks and general paperwork.

Hours 7.45 to 4.45 Monday to Friday.

Salary is 45-50K depending on experience, plus company benefits and more.
