ROLE: Maintenance Supervisor

HOURS: 42 hours per week, 4on4off 07:00 - 19:00

SALARY: £52,481.52

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of Maintenance Technicians ensuring the efficient and safe running of all Production equipment based at our Eurocell Recycling site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

This is a great opportunity within the department, with oversight of maintenance planning, supporting a skilled technical team, and implementing strategies that reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

WHAT OUR MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS DO:

• Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure that all maintenance activities are performed to meet safety and quality standards
• Follow and report all escalation of incidents in line with SHE requirements
• Support and train Operators to develop within their role
• Engage and manage contractor activity onsite
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for extrusion equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on extrusion lines and related equipment
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor work quality to meet production and maintenance goals

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS:

• Time served apprentice in an engineering subject (HNC or equivalent would be desirable)
• ILM level 3 in supervisory management or equivalent experience
• WCM / Lean trained (or willing to be)
• Practical knowledge of Key H+S legislation (example - HASAWA, LOLER, PUWER, IEEE regulations)
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to diagnose faults on a wide range of engineering equipment including but not exhaustive of Electrical fixed wiring systems, PLC and drive systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
