Job summary

CareTech is seeking a Maintenance Operative to uphold the safety, cleanliness and functionality of our residential care sites for children, young people and adults. You will carry out domestic repairs, minor projects and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Based across our care facilities, you will maintain records, support audits and liaise with the Regional/Facilities Manager on larger works. A trade background is useful, but attitude and reliability matter most.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have building and maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with compliance and record-keeping is preferred.
• A trade background is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic repairs and maintenance upkeep of the premises.
• Execute minor projects within the site complex and ensure safety.
