CareTech Community Services is seeking a Maintenance Operative to support the safe and well‑maintained running of our facilities. The role covers domestic repairs, routine maintenance, and collaboration with contractors to ensure high standards across our sites.

You will work in a supportive environment with DBS checks and safeguarding procedures in place, and opportunities for progression within the group.

Qualifications

• Building and maintenance knowledge required.
• Experience with compliance and record keeping.
• Trade background is preferred but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Carry out domestic repairs and maintenance upkeep of the premises.
• Address minor projects within the site complex.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations and inspection standards.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, clean, hygienic environment.
• Provide accurate records and reports for the site.
• Participate in regular quality systems audits.
• Address works from contractors below required standards.
• Coordinate with management on larger projects and technical matters.
• Identify facility projects to improve image, functionality or efficiency.
• Ensure projects are completed within programme and contractor areas are left in good condition.
• Manage upkeep of the grounds.
