British Airways is recruiting a Planning Team Leader to manage a team of Planning Engineers responsible for creating balanced, cost-effective maintenance plans while ensuring fleet compliance.

The role requires leadership, strong planning skills, and the ability to drive improvements in Operational Maintenance planning processes. The position includes day and night shift work and extensive cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Broad knowledge of the British Airways operation.
• Working knowledge of EASA Part‑M and Part‑145 regulations.
• Detailed knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning principles.
• BA IT systems such as SAP is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Accountable for maintenance planning and compliance, delivering aircraft to schedule.
• Coordinate clearance processes across Engineering to drive success.
• Develop a high-performing team through empowerment and development.
• Report on operational performance to senior stakeholders and act on insights.
• Manage key suppliers to meet the plan within financial constraints.
