Voyage support people who have complex needs and at times, challenging behaviours.

We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to join the Property team based in the Hartlepool area to cover Voyage Services in and around the surrounding areas.

Responsible to the Senior Maintenance Operative, you will work as part of a growing organisation providing day to day maintenance within our care homes in order to provide a safe, compliant and homely environment for the People We Support, in a prompt and professional manner.

You will be assigned to around 10-12 care homes and you will take complete responsibility for all day to day maintenance within these homes, ensuring that the environments are maintained to the highest standards and that all repairs are addressed professionally and in a timely fashion.

To be successful in this role you will need to be an experienced multi-skilled all-rounder, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, who takes pride in their work and accepts ownership for the care homes assigned to you.

You will be responsible for managing your own time and maintaining levels of supplies to enable you execute works within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Your duties will include the following:

  • Fitting domestic appliances
  • Refurbs to rooms to include plumbing, tiling, kitchen fit-outs, bathroom suite replacements
  • Decorating
  • Joinery
  • Building fabric repairs
  • Removals/deliveries
  • General Ad-Hoc repairs
