Job summary

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a maintenance operative to work for an inhouse supermarket maintenance team on a 12-week temp to perm scheme. This role will be based with autonomous working completing planned maintenance across a few stores. Location: Faringdon. Salary: £29,328.86 per year or £14.01 per hour.

Hours: 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (flexible for childcare). Weekends: 1-in-4 with Sunday rate multiply. Overtime at 1.5x.

Responsibilities

• General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
• Replace lightbulbs, taps, toilet seats; hanging doors; fix shelves; patch plaster, rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Building inspections including roof walks and exterior checks.
• Car park checks – drain covers, trolley shelters, bollards.
• Daily duties to update the tablet, report issues, H&S notes or emails.
• Technology used via PDA Tablet and company provided smartphone.

Location - Faringdon
Salary - £29,328.86/yr or £14.01/ph
Hours- 6am to 3pm - Monday to Friday (Can be flexed slightly for childcare etc)
Weekends- 1-in-4 weekend shift (1.25x rate for Sunday)
Overtime -Overtime is there at 1.5x

• General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
• This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster. rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Building inspections including roof walks and building checks to exterior
• Cark Park checks - drain covers, trolley shelters, bollards
• There will be daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, this may be reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails.
• Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
