Job summary

TXM Recruit are seeking a commercial electrician for the UK's largest supermarket, to join the in-house property maintenance team in Gloucestershire. You will perform planned and reactive electrical work, including lighting, power, CCTV, and BMS, plus general store repairs.

The role offers a temp-to-perm path, with a 6am–3pm, Mon–Fri schedule, and 1-in-4 weekend shifts with overtime at 1.5x. Van and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Gold Card approved.
• 18th Edition certificate.
• 2391 desirable.
• Full UK License (Max 6pts)

Job description

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a temp to perm commercial Electrician to work for the UKs largest supermarket as part of their in-house property maintenance team

Location - Gloucestershire

Salary - £19.81 per hour (£41,206 equiv)

Hours - 6am to 3pm - Monday to Friday

Weekends - 1-in-4 weekend shift (1.25x rate for Sunday)

Overtime - Overtime is there at 1.5x

Company Van and Tools & Uniform provided.

Duties

• Planned and reactive jobs around the office and store.
• This may include electrical repairs to the BMS, lighting and power system repairs, CCTV systems (bonus) as well as single 3 phase units and circuits etc.
• You will also be required to support on all general repairs around the store from fixing doors, replacing shelves, fitting new toilet holders as well as fire alarm testing, emergency light testing and other work.
