The position of Maintenance Operative involves:

1. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, minor repairs on MHE equipment, report faults, and collaborate with suppliers for timely fixes.
2. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the depot, ensuring the building's integrity meets company standards.
3. Assist in carrying out work on site, adhering strictly to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
4. Follow maintenance schedules as directed by the Depot Supervisor to ensure timely completion of tasks.
5. Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks, acting to minimise cost and operational impact.
6. Adhere to Company Safe Systems of Work and Company Rule Book, maintaining the highest standards.
7. Identify, document, and report maintenance issues/repair work.
8. Attend regular training sessions.

Essential Skills required for Maintenance Operative:

1. Experience in a strong H&S culture.
2. Able to work on your own initiative.
3. Able to maintain and grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Have excellent communication skills.
