Job description

Join our Smart Infrastructure division as a Security Systems Service Engineer. This is a fantastic role for an experienced service engineer with a proven track record of servicing and maintaining large integrated security systems.

This role focuses on maintaining systems at our customer sites within Liverpool, Merseyside, and Manchester areas, with occasional travel to other locations.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with team members on-site or remotely to address client and company needs while fostering development and motivation.
2. Service security systems including CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems according to manufacturer and industry standards.
3. Produce required paperwork for internal and external purposes.
4. Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota for fault calls.
5. Assist with small works and projects, including quotes, surveys, installation, and commissioning.
6. Ensure compliance with Siemens processes through vehicle, equipment, and process audits.
7. Generate site-specific RAMS and ensure PPE/safety equipment checks are up-to-date.
8. Complete chargeable works orders to standard and address any defects.
9. Proven experience in servicing security systems, fault finding, and technical engineering.
10. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
11. Customer engagement experience and good interpersonal skills.
12. Full driving license and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
13. Experience with Milestone and IP networking is advantageous.
