Job summary
Automation Experts in the West Midlands are seeking a practical Maintenance & Facilities Technician to maintain production machinery and site facilities. The role includes planned maintenance, breakdown response, and contributing to site projects.
You will work Monday–Friday with overtime opportunities and extensive training, including health and safety qualifications. Located in Coventry and commutable from nearby towns, the role offers training, overtime (Sat/Sun rates), and long-term
Qualifications
- Mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Electrical/pneumatic knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance across production machinery and site equipment.
- Respond to mechanical breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
- Support maintenance of factory facilities and infrastructure.
- Assist with improving maintenance procedures and documentation.
- Perform basic fault finding and repairs on mechanical equipment.
- Support PUWER assessments and safe operation of machinery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Work safely, including at height when required.
- Contribute to site improvement and expansion projects.
