PCI Pharma Services in Tredegar, UK, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineering leader to oversee on-site maintenance, drive reliability, safety and continuous improvement across site operations.

You will manage maintenance strategy, budgets, projects, suppliers, assets and regulatory requirements while partnering with Production, Quality and Validation to ensure GMP compliance and seamless operations. This is an on-site role requiring flexible hours to support critical needs.

Qualifikationen

• Provide leadership to the Maintenance Engineering team.
• Set and monitor KPIs and performance standards.
• Demonstrate proactive leadership promoting teamwork and development.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with GMP, FDA, MHRA, EMA and internal standards.
• Maintain equipment and facilities per the PPM programme and regulatory expectations.
• Lead audits, investigations and CAPAs relevant to maintenance operations.
• Improve asset care and maintenance strategies to optimise uptime.
• Drive RCA and corrective actions for repeat failures.
• Manage tooling, spares, and critical equipment availability.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting and cost control for the department.
• Provide regular reports aligned with the site financial plan.
• Establish service contracts and vendor relationships.
• Oversee HR processes for team members including performance reviews.
• Address performance matters through coaching and formal measures.
• Promote engagement and succession planning.
• Ensure staff are trained to work safely and compliantly.
• Identify development needs and work with HR on training plans.
• Foster a culture of learning and technical excellence.
• Provide input into engineering projects and capital expenditure.
• Assist other departments in equipment validation and implementation.
• Support new technologies ensuring maintenance readiness.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies and UK/global standards.

• Provide regular reports on forecasted vs actual expenditure.
• Establish and manage service contracts and vendor relationships.
• Oversee HR processes for team members and development plans.
• Address performance and absence issues through coaching and formal measures.
• Promote team engagement and succession planning.
• Ensure maintenance staff are trained and competent.
• Identify development needs and implement training budgets.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Support out-of-hours response to site alarms and emergencies.
