Job summary

Alpla in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain plant machinery and services for continuous production. You will inspect, test, repair and modify equipment while upholding health, safety, quality, hygiene and food safety standards.

The role requires transferable manufacturing experience, preferably with a mechanical bias, and an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. A modern, family-like workplace with a dynamic team awaits.

Qualifications

• Transferable manufacturing experience is essential.
• Multi-skilled experience preferred (Mechanical bias).
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 quals or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily routine inspection and test of services.
• Repair machinery quickly and efficiently to limit production downtime.
• Carry out planned maintenance as per schedules.
• Carry out modification to machinery to achieve continuous improvement.
• Ensure all duties comply with health, safety, quality, hygiene and food safety policies.
