Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our fast-moving snacks and confectionery production team. You will own breakdown reporting, plan preventative maintenance, and coordinate with planning to maximize machine availability.

The role requires a relevant engineering qualification, proven competency in electrical safety and panel entry, and hands-on experience in FMCG environments. PC-literate and familiar with computer-based maintenance systems, you will uphold GMP and safety

Qualifications

Relevant engineering qualification.
Competency in isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry.
Experience of FMCG operations.
PC literate and able to use computer-based maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

The daily reporting of breakdowns v PPMs activities.
Prioritisation of repair work.
Planning and Monitoring machine performance.
Working with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability.
Monitoring failure.
Supporting External Contractors.
Technical support for production when required.
To maintain the highest standards in housekeeping, adopting a clean as you go policy.
To maintain the highest standards when completing paperwork and works sign off.
